This Privacy Policy explains how AtHomeGaming (“we”, “us”) operates athomeland.net and related HOMELAND Core SMP services (the website, modpack download, Minecraft server at mc.athomeland.net, and optional live map).

Who this is for

HOMELAND is AtHomeGaming’s Core SMP — a community Minecraft server, not a large commercial platform. We collect as little as practical to run the site and game.

Information we may process

• Website: standard web logs via our host (Cloudflare), such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and approximate location derived from IP. Used for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.
• Cookies / local storage: see our Cookie Policy. We may store a simple preference that you accepted the cookie notice.
• Download: if you download the modpack, the file host may log the request (IP, time, user agent) for delivery and abuse prevention.
• Minecraft server: when you join, the game and server software process your Minecraft username, UUID, IP address, connection times, and in-game actions as needed to run multiplayer (chat, builds, voice chat if enabled, anti-grief / bans).
• Live status widget: the homepage may request a third-party Minecraft status API (for example mcstatus.io) to show online/offline and player counts. That request is made from your browser to that provider.
• Live map (if enabled): viewing map.athomeland.net may involve similar hosting logs and map session data.

How we use information

• To operate, secure, and improve the website and Minecraft server
• To deliver the modpack download
• To enforce server rules (mutes, bans, grief prevention)
• To diagnose outages and abuse

We do not sell your personal information. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.

Sharing

We use infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf, including Cloudflare (DNS, CDN, hosting, and optionally R2 file storage). Minecraft status APIs may receive your IP when your browser checks server status. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the server and its players from harm or abuse.

Retention

Web/server logs are kept only as long as useful for operations and security (typically days to a few months unless needed for an investigation). Minecraft world data and ban records may be kept while the community exists.

Children

The site and server are intended for players who already have a legitimate Minecraft Java account and are old enough to use online multiplayer under Minecraft’s and their guardian’s rules. If you believe a child has provided personal data inappropriately, contact us and we will delete what we reasonably can.

Your choices

• You can refuse non-essential cookies via the cookie notice (see Cookies).
• You can stop using the website or Minecraft server at any time.
• For access/deletion requests related to website logs or server records we control, email privacy@athomeland.net (or contact the server operator directly if that mailbox is not yet active).

International processing

Our providers may process data in the United States, Canada, EU/EEA, or other regions where they operate.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the site or server after changes means you accept the updated policy.
